I own a Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 HEMI 5.7 2006 truck. I have 40,000 miles on it.
In the past 2 years, I have bought probably enough exhaust mufflers,and
removed and cut, and bought,and tried:
Cherry Bomb-Extreme/Glasspacks/Dynomax Turbo/Aeroturbine 30/30/Flowmasters
40,Super40/Super 44. I have gone straight from cats with nothing.
I have
removed resonators.I have gone 3 inch all the way out/gone 2 1/2 out. been
there with all this.
I have dome more cutting/zaw-sawing/welding.
I have heard about Fulboar with a local muffler shop in my area, but never
went with it.
Finally sick of the Flowmaster,which I swore was the best yet on my RAM, I
bought a Fullboar V413C**
I am running 2/14 Stock Y pipe to the V413C and dumped under passengers
seat, with no tips. Its unbelievable!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My truck's pickup from a start is unreal.The sound and tone at WOT is a
monster. Its not as bassy as the Flowmaster 40/44.The Fullboar has a raspy
sound...I LOVE IT!!!!!!
With any of these mufflers, I don't have alot of rumble at idle. If I could
improve this, would be perfect. A lot of these mufflers, you wouldn't even
know I have a performabnce muffler at idle.
But this mufffler is way cheaper than Flowmaster and a lot better all the way
around.
